10 closet essentials you should splurge on

As a girl who gets tired of wearing the same things over and over again, I don’t waste that much money on pieces of clothing. I usually buy my clothes at cute stores like Forever 21, Express, Urban Outfitters, H&M, and J.Crew (there are more but these are my top five). My philosophy when buying clothes is that: since trends change with every season and some of them disappear for a while why waste a lot of money on something you are probably going to wear a couple of times?
But there are some essentials that every closet should have to be considered a ‘complete’ closet. These essentials are items that people should own and it would not matter if you spend a little more than expected on them because these are items that you will use very often and that does not go out of fashion.
For me this would be my top 10 essential items someone should splurge on:

1. Black Pumps

2. Nude Pumps

3. Leather Jacket

4. LBD (Little Black Dress)

5. Statement Earrings

6. Jeans

7. Statement Necklace

8. Ballerina Flats

9. Handbag

10. Cardigan

What are closet essentials that you splurge on?

Styling 101: How to get dressed in a rush…

Instagram post 18085679725142951 Today I wanted to share a reflection, some thoughts I’ve been having since I re-joined twitter. If you haven’t use it in a while beware that Twitter has become a place to share thoughts and get either people retweeting you and saying nice things or completely the opposite. So, yesterday I read a tweet that talked about pricing consumer goods in my country Venezuela. The girl was saying that clearly she was not the target consumer of some brands because of high prices. I decided to tell her that when brands come up with their pricing strategy many things are taken into account like manufacturing, packaging, labor, shipping, and the target consumer as well. After that I fell asleep and this morning my twitter was exploding with replies. But one caught my attention. A girl saying that first my degree was not decor that I should use my knowledge more often and that I should go study marketing (LOL I am indeed finishing my degree in marketing, luxury marketing) So, some thoughts: first if you are going to put your opinions in the internet (a public space) keep in mind people are going to respond, be polite when answering back or answering someones opinion online. It is completely fine, and actually normal, not to agree with everyone always. But there is always a polite way to say things and to show disagreement, that how a healthy argument/conversation should be. Well that was it I just wanted to share my reflection of my twitter journey 😂❤️ Hope you guys have an awesome weekend!
