Two Ways to Style a Silk Scarf

Hello my fashion addicts!

It feels like I haven’t been here for a long time. The trip to Madrid got me distracted and I just didn’t have time to update the blog. I promised to myself that for my next trip I will plan ahead some posts for you. Today, I am super excited to share a trend I’ve been dying to try for a long time. I am very picky when it comes to accessories. When I buy a new handbag, hat, jewelry, you name it, it has to be the right one. The one piece I just can’t live without. Given this, I have looked for a silk scarf everywhere, but couldn’t find the right one. The one that made say, “I need it in my life!”

That was until my friend, Valentina, form the blog MV Trends launched her new silk scarf line, ByMVtrends. The collection was inspired by cities around the world. The scarf that I got is called LISBOA, inspired by the Portuguese city. Not only was I crazy looking for a scarf, I also wanted an orange accessory. Of course, when I saw this beautiful orange scarf I couldn’t help myself. What I love about this item is that it is so versatile. You can wear it on your neck, you can wear it as belt (like I did), or it can be used as a handbag accessory. In fact, I also managed to get a shot of how the scarf compliments the handbag.

How would you wear the scarf? Share with me an innovative way of wearing scarfs in the comments section below!

XOXO, Ana Cristina Mariño

Hola chicas!

The photo above shows how to wear a scarf as a belt. To be honest, it was something I thought last minute. As I was driving to take this photos, I kept thinking unconventional ways to wear scarfs. So that is how the silk scarf belt trend was born. Below, is a more common way of wearing a silk scarf.
