Outfit ideas for Valentine’s Day

During the weekend, I couldn’t think of what outfits to share with you guys this week. Suddenly, I was flipping through magazines and of course Valentine’s Day was all over. So, I found it fitting that I share with you what I would wear to Valentine’s Day times two. I decided to create two outfits for different occasions. The first one is the cliche pink with red outfit and it is perfect for a night out. Maybe you are having dinner with your significant other or you are just going out with your girlfriends. Even though it has the typical colors, I incorporated the bell sleeves trend that just makes the outfit dreamy.

The second outfit is more casual, maybe you don’t celebrate V-Day in the biggest way, and you just want a cute but casual look. Then, this outfit is the perfect one for the occasion. I paired up a baby blue top with white jeans. Of course, a V-Day outfit is not complete without the red details. Lastly, I wore over the top earrings from one of my favorite Venezuelan jewelry designers, Katherine Cordero. She is based here in Mami; you can find her shop in Wynwood. Her designs always make a statement. My favorite thing about the earring is that they do not weigh anything. It is like you’re wearing feathers in your ears.

Fun Fact: I took this photos yesterday. Today, while preparing the post I received and email from Fashion Bloggers Venezuela. Every month, they send out a challenge. Funny enough, this month’s challenge is about Valentine’s Day. For those not familiar with the community, it is a group of fashion bloggers. A year ago, a group of girls decided to create to support each other. Now it is a huge community filled the most talented fashion bloggers from Venezuela. At the end of the month they feature all of the looks submitted for the month’s challenge. You can follow them on Instagram and Facebook.

Both options are great. I love that you took a non traditional take with the blue shirt. I’m all about mixing it up. Love that red bag too.
