Off The Shoulder and Flare Jeans + news

Happy Friday! Today’s outfit features two trends that are revolutionizing the fashion industry at the moment. Off the shoulder blouses and flare jeans are making a comeback, and a very strong one. Everyone is wearing them, and I love it. One of my favorite fashion decades is the 70s. I still remember when I was 12 and I went to Limited Too to buy flare pants. Do you remember that store?! It was my favorite place to shop.

I wore this outfit this past Saturday to an event hosted by South Florida Bloggers. We learned the 411 of food photography and enjoyed ceviche from the very own chef of Pisco y Nazca. I enjoyed an afternoon with fellow Miami bloggers at Macy’s Dadeland. I learned a lot, but most importantly that the key to an A+ photograph is natural light.

Talking about the South Florida Bloggers, the exciting news that I have to share with you guys is that I was made a chapter officer of the network along with 3 other bloggers. The chapter offers bloggers a space to network and to grow. If you are a blogger and fin yourself in Miami, join our group here!

Back to my outfit! I fell in love with this SheIn off the shoulder blouse a long time ago and finally decided to buy it. I love it! I paired it with flare jeans to recreate the perfect 70s outfit. You can also see how I styled this Forever 21 bell bottom jeans here, when I went to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.

Feliz viernes chicas!

I’ve recently been embracing the OTS tops. I have to find ones that are comfortable…there are so many that just dont work off the shoulder and I’m always readjusting (#frustrating)… This top is SO pretty, may have to add to my closet asap!

You look adorable! I loved my flare jeans (Senior 1977!) and my peasant tops! The off shoulder top is so flattering and feminine.

Great outfit. I love that top. So cute! I have a hard time finding flare jeans that fit since I’m so short but I love this trend and wish I could wear it more.

I’m not sure I could pull of that off-the-shoulder look, but I do like the look of the jeans. And so affordable!

Flare jeans are a classic! I’m not sure why they took a back seat to skinny jeans but I will always love the style. To hear that it’s coming back into fashion makes me happy happy happy!
