Confessions of a Shop-a-holic

When it comes to sales, you can find me first in line. As many of you know, yesterday was Cyber Monday! In my country holidays equal long weekends and parties, here in the US you add amazing sales to the list. Of course, I ran out of shopping savings already with other sales. For example, the skirt pictures in this post, I bought at Bloomingdales during Veteran’s Day. I fell in love with the brand once I saw it; it’s called Gracia and the best part is that it’s super affordable. You can buy their pieces either at Bloomingdales, like I did, or at their website. I promise you will fall in love with the brand, just like I did.

I wore this outfit to the past South Florida Bloggers meet up with Nany’s Klozet as a speaker. It was a live interview + Q&A about monetization and how to make a living from blogging. Many gave very helpful tips and what not do to. I love these events not only because of the information I get, but because I get to meet amazing people. This time I had the opportunity to meet a couple of bloggers that I already follow on Instagram. If its not obvious, let me just say that going to a blogging event feels like you are stepping into a photoshoot; of course I had to go with a very photographable outfit. It was a very comfortable one too and one that you can use to different types of event like, brunches, birthday parties, and even night outs.

Lately, I’ve been trying to challenge myself and create outfits with three or more pieces. I feel that it makes the outfits look so much more fashionable and complete. This time, my third piece was a denim jacket. If you’ve flipped through magazines recently, you have probably seen denim everywhere. I think it is one of my favorites trends because it can make any outfit look comfortable and effortless. From shirt, jackets, shoes, to bags, I love everything denim.

Which piece is you favorite from this outfit?

I love the pumpkin color of that skirt – but I don’t know how you wear such high heels. For me, the only thing those are good for is dangling from my foot as I’m sitting down! LOL!

I like wearing 3 pieces (or more!), too. Great color combo with the pop of yellow in the mustard purse and the pumpkin color in the skirt.
