Black & White Allure

About a week ago, I attended an event at Bloomingdales hosted by Allure magazine. They presented the Best of Beauty Award winners, which are all shopable at the store, and allowed us to shop before the store opened for the day. I wore this outfit made up of a Forever 21 skirt and a black blouse I got at Burlington Coat Factory. I love the details of the shirt at the end of the sleeves. The lace makes it more romantic and elegant; it takes the blouse from plain black to a night out blouse. I didn’t want to over do it for the event and decided to wear simple strap sandals from Steve Madden.

We got a goodie bag from the people of Allure magazine. It was filled with samples from the award winners and it also included the Allure Beauty Box. If you love to try out new beauty products often, I recommend this box 100%, plus it’s only $15 a month. You can go to this site and sign-up to start getting your boxes. The items included are hand picked by the beauty editors of the magazine. I can’t wait to try out mine and let you know which product where my favorite!

My photographer and friend, Maho, and I have been dying to shoot a this location since we started working together. The orange hallway is the façade from the Fendi boutique located at Miami Design District. I love what they have done to the area. The streets are now and open air mall, filled with high-end boutiques that include: Fendi, Dior, Valentino, Lanvin, and many others. While shooting the outfit, I laughed a lot because I realized my outfit and the background felt very Halloween. It was not intentional, but the holiday is near! I still don’t know what costume to wear.

If you have any suggestions of what I should be for Halloween, please leave them below in the comment section!

¡Hola chicas!
